Spanish 3

Students must be at the intermediate level in order to successfully complete the work in Spanish 3. Curriculum focus is on travel and survival while traveling and development of higher level grammatical structures. Topics include the following:

• Body parts, personal care and daily routine
• Reflexive verbs, Present perfect tense, past participles, future tense
• Hotels, getting a room, reporting problems, getting needs met
• Sports and leisure activities
• Making and accepting or declining invitations, purchasing tickets
• The car, renting, servicing, calling for help with auto problems
• Transportation, getting around, asking and giving directions
• Command forms, preterit and imperfect tenses (past tenses)
• History, culture and geography of Spain
